I want a good all around caliber, a "reach out and touch someone" bolt action that will also fire a very common bullet, such as the .308.
The case sizes are different plus the diameter of the bullets are also different the 308 is 0.308inches but the Russian 7.62x39mm is 0.310inchs in diameter.
